Put a bead of epoxy all the way around the outside of the voice coil, then set the pushrod you made earlier in place. Be generous with the epoxy here. Note the placement of the pushrod. In this speaker (the vertical deflector), the pushrod should be above the voice coil as shown. In the other speaker (the horizontal deflector), the pushrod should be to the right of the voice coil.
Slide the pivot rod through the bearing. Put this assembly onto the speaker, sliding the pushrod through the hole in the mirror. Hold the mirror level, and mark the pushrod about a quarter inch above the mirror. Cut the pushrod off there. It's a good idea to put a piece of paper over the opening to keep metal filings from falling into the speaker.
